Founding technology leadership on an equity stake. Technology strategy, enterprise architecture and delivery for over 100 client projects across healthcare, retail, banking and enterprise.

• Carried the company to its 2026 acquisition on a product I built: moved it off services onto an enterprise ERP and POS platform, sold into over 30 enterprise clients across the UAE and India.
• Built the engineering organisation from the ground up to 50 engineers, retained the core team through the acquisition, and led the technology side of the transition.
• Held EDR, the flagship client platform carrying over $50M in annual client revenue, at over 99.95% uptime (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK).
• Cut release cadence from every 4 to 8 weeks to weekly across the whole portfolio, on CI/CD built for it (self-hosted Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
• Ran Scrum delivery out of five countries on one architecture standard, with the same SLA, design reviews and release gates in every one (India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Malaysia).
• Set the architecture standard all of the over 100 delivered projects were built against, and clients certified on top of it, including HIPAA (C4, UML, Well-Architected Framework, ISO 27001, GDPR, UAE data protection).
• Owned the P&L for the product business unit and the annual engineering budget across headcount, tooling and cloud, presenting monthly to the shareholders on strategy, spend and delivery.
• Closed the 2026 acquisition with a remediation plan agreed, running the technical due diligence and the data room across architecture and scalability, IP and open-source licence audit, security posture, and key-person risk.
• Hired over 200 engineers in four years, and led the AI work: a test-and-fix framework that writes and runs its own Playwright suites, and a LangChain assistant for a healthcare client.

IT leadership for one of Oman’s largest engineering contractors - 5,000+ staff, an order book over $300M - across roughly 50 subsidiaries in construction, hospitality, farming, crushing, manufacturing and F&B, operating in Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and India.

• Owned group IT spend of $17M to $25M a year across roughly 50 subsidiaries, from CCTV, cabling and racks through to servers, hardware and software.
• Cut it by about $294K a month, roughly $3.5M a year, a 14% to 20% reduction, through competitive multi-vendor bidding across all four regions.
• Held vendor negotiation and contract authority across the group, presenting monthly to the ownership on IT spend, risk and transformation.
• Led digital transformation across the four-country operation, running an IT function of over 25 people across software and hardware.
• Moved every process off paper onto systems built in-house across all 4 offices, with task and ticket monitoring behind them (AI note-taking, WRENCH SmartProject, Zoho low-code).

Co-founded an AI healthtech startup and set its technology vision, architecture and roadmap across India and the UAE.

• Built the company from the first line of code to its 2026 acquisition, raising about $500K, carrying the company P&L, presenting monthly to the investor board, and running the technical due diligence for the exit.
• Grew the engineering organisation to 30 people including the architects on each surface, plus vendor partners across India and the UAE.
• Took doctor and patient apps live in over 10 clinics with tens of clinicians and hundreds of patients, and set the architecture behind them on web and mobile.
• Took crash-free sessions from 10% to 90% and cut the defect rate to 5%, shipping weekly at over 80% test coverage, on a platform built to HIPAA and to Indian and UAE health-data rules.

Hands-on delivery engineering on enterprise programmes for Telstra, Pickles and First American, between running my own engineering functions.

• Delivered IoT platforms for Telstra, Australia’s largest telecom, and owned the integration architecture behind them: an API layer in front, device telemetry through an event-driven backbone (Google Apigee, Azure Service Bus).
• Rebuilt ERP and internal systems for Pickles, Australia’s largest auctioneer, and First American, a US title insurer, at over 80% automated test coverage, and ran AI/ML model R&D (SageMaker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).

Enterprise chatbots and internal applications for KPMG, wired into their core systems.

• Architected the chatbot over KPMG’s audit process, used by over 1,000 people across the KPMG group, working directly with Microsoft on the Bot Framework build.
• Cut load times about 30% for the auditors in it every day, migrating the flagship audit application off AngularJS 1.6/1.7 onto Angular 5 and then 6.

• Halved the hosting bill by migrating over 80 servers from AWS to Azure, led AI chatbot platforms for 5 clients plus 3 internal production bots, took over the ML and AI division when the engineering manager left, and hired the over 50 engineers who joined my teams.

Promoted twice in 31 months, from PHP Web Developer to Programmer to Lead Developer on the Innovation Team.

• Ran product incubation on the Innovation Team: found the technology, built the proof of concept, took it to customers, then handed each product to sales and operations against growth targets. Shaped the architecture on Clickastro, still past 1M installs at 4.4 stars on Google Play.
